Comfortable hotel, I greatly enjoyed exceptional breakfast!
Was a comfortable place for trip. Everything was great, good service, convenient location adjacent to the Forbidden City, a fancy taxi to go to the airport and the Shangri-La. Comforts of a double room were fabulous - central heating, a safe, and multi-channel TV.

The hotel's efficiency in refunding my security deposit post-stay was highly disappointing, overshadowing the stylish design of my room and the pleasant ambiance of the garden.

The atmosphere and the hall make the hotel appear very high class. It seems well suited for conferences and group meetings offering nice surroundings. The fitness section was well equipped !
The lack of ability to provide taxi in the morning. The place of the hotel is an area with few (no) decent Chinese restaurants within walking distance (which is not the hotel to blame)

The garden is a lovely spot, but the air conditioning was ineffective.

High standards of accommodation, beautiful facilities, excellent room design
The WIFI login process is cumbersome and unreliable!!! A shocking security deposit requirement was not clearly disclosed, and air conditioning troubles were frustratingly dismissed with a suggestion to open windows!!!

The lobby bar is a total disaster, you can sit there forever without any service, it's really not worth it. I found it appauling that I was expected to pay a massive deposit and received no upgrade in return. I almost thought I'd be impressed, but the air conditioning left me sweating instead.

The garden at the back of the hotel is a lovely spot for afternoon drinks and enjoying the local scenery.
The lobby bar was annoyingly slow, and I felt ignored waiting for service.
